I am a Music graduate with five years of experience as a piano and music theory teacher. I am trained in both classical and jazz piano, offering students the option to progress through to Grade 8 or learn in a more relaxed setting. I teach a range of students and ages, from complete beginners to those wanting to restart an old hobby. I also tutor music GCSE and A-Level, and I have three years of experience mentoring prospective applicants for the Music Undergraduate Degree Interview and Test process for Oxford University.

I am an Oxford Biology graduate, science teacher and experienced science & maths tutor. I have two years of full-time experience in the classroom in addition to five years of tutoring. After university, I gained a place on the TeachFirst program in a South East London secondary school where I taught GCSE physics, chemistry and biology alongside A-level biology. In my second year, I took on the roles of physics KS4 subject lead and Oxbridge coordinator for the school. I tutor GCSE sciences and maths together with A-level biology and physics, and also Oxbridge application prep.

Dr Jacob Bird
I’m a Lecturer in Music at the Queen’s College, Oxford, as well as a private tutor in Music, Latin, and French for a wide variety of students aged 6 and above, and I welcome students of all ages and experiences. I graduated with First-class honours from Cambridge, and received a Distinction in my MSt at Oxford, both in Music. I recently passed my final viva for the DPhil in Music at Oxford, and my research has appeared in major academic journals. In addition to my academic degrees, I have a performance diploma in piano (DipABRSM with Distinction) and I offer instrumental tuition. Though I specialise in musicology, I have broader interests in philosophy, phenomenology, and aesthetics more generally.
Mathilda
I am a graduate in Classics and will hopefully be returning next study year for a Master’s degree in the same discipline! I’ve tutored steadily throughout university, typically in London and in residential settings. My specialisms are 7+, 8+ 11+ test prep and I also have ample experience at GCSE level. I currently work as a full-time tutor in a secondary school, teaching English and Maths GCSE to pupils of all different abilities; encountering such a variety of learning styles has led me to broaden and refine my teaching capabilities. In this role I have also gained experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
